Illustration apparently inspired by the song “sleepyhead”  and finished while listening to SIA’s new album 1000 forms of fear. Well, this is overall more of a sketch than anything else anyway. I like unfinished-looking work. Where you can see a little of the process of how it was made. There is something nice about highly rendered works, but they tend to lose so much of the original energy and spirit that inspired them that they leave a stagnant or stale impression. Even the best oil paintings have a sense of movement– the best works in the world seem effortless.
